Objective
Chapter 8: The
Deathblow Bullet
Sangoon NPC Knowledge was a mystical creature born from the Decree of Ahshi, and the traveler decided to oppose this divine decree.
"When the ashes of the fallen twilight star are scorched with the souls tormented by tiger attacks, you shall have the power to destroy the Decree of Ahshi."
According to Ahong NPC Knowledge, all Taebaek tigers are born with a flower seed, and where the tiger dies, a Tigerflower NPC Knowledge Item blooms and creates nectar. This flower seed is known as the Star of Taebaek.
The tigers of Taebaek - they are born from the
Star of Twilight and die as the Star of Taebaek. The traveler gathered honey from these seeds to use at the tiger victim funeral, and the ritual produces a
Tigersbane Gem that is hard as steel. This gem was taken to Bokdari NPC Knowledge of Yeowoo Pass to make into a deathblow bullet for Sangoon.
There, the traveler heard yet another suspicious story. Apparently, the Yeongam of the East had asked for a hammer that could crush what remained of the Tiger Palace.
The traveler and the Taebaek Troops returned to Tiger Palace and succeeded in ending Sangoon's life with the deathblow bullet. And in order to stop the tiger attacks, the eldest sons of each family that had fallen victim were told by Old Lady Birigongdeok NPC Knowledge to gnaw on his still-beating heart.
