It's an honor to see you again, Your Highness.
Has it been that long? And yet, you don't look a day older.
Ah, no... I do not hail from Calpheon.
Long ago, before the Ahib founded O'draxxia...
His Royal Majesty, King Dahad Seric came upon the abandoned ruins of fallen Orzeca,
found me surviving within an inch of my life in some cave, and took me in.
Afterwards, we returned to Calpheon together,
where he had me oversee a secret laboratory in the castle depths.
When King Dahad Seric met his untimely end during the Valencian Expedition,
the lab was immediately closed down...
And yet, I was able to salvage something.
I feel that you must see it for yourself.

Do you remember what I mentioned earlier? About the thing I salvaged
from the defunct laboratory hidden within the bowels of the castle, Your Highness?
That very thing was the "Branch of Quturan."
I tended to this branch, unbeknownst to others, until it grew into a full-fledged tree.
Since it was planted in Calpheonian soil, it is not a purebred Quturan tree, however...
I had no sinister motives in rearing this tree. I simply sought to uphold the king's royal decree.
