Objective
Chapter 8: The Thirst of Samsin NPC Knowledge
"Y-Yeah! Of course! We gotta calm her down!"
To quell the fury of the Goddess Samsin and save the children, they first decided to alleviate the deep-seated resentment within her heart.
"...Haha. The bitterness in one's heart, is not something that can be easily undone. If you're ready to tread that challenging path, I'll help you. Samsin drew power from the people's desires."
The traveler, Dolswe NPC Knowledge, and Seunghee journeyed to the village to speak with the townsfolk.
"It's all a misunderstanding! Them bounty hunters are the ones to point fingers at! They're the ones who snatched your kids, took the money, then paraded 'em back!"
"How can you insult the kind souls who returned our children that Samsin took? Ridiculous!"
At first, the villagers did not believe the traveler's words, but through persistent persuasion, their hearts began to soften.
"Thirst... This thirst is consuming me. The river has dried up. All the fish... are gone... dead!"
Yet, it seemed insufficient to dispel the Black Energy. In the end, the traveler had no choice but to confront Goddess Samsin directly.
