Chapter 12: Devoid of Vengeance

The traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge, along with the steadfast Seunghee, restored peace to the venerable Goddess.

"Thanks to you, I'm back to my peaceful self."
"All good! And no more cryin' young'uns, alright?"

At that moment, Seunghee strode purposefully towards Seonghun.

"Uh, hey! Mr. Seunghee, what's up? Ya need something from the old man?"
"At last, I've reached you."

With a swift motion, Seunghee grasped the ornamental hairpin embedded in the sacred Samsin Tree NPC Knowledge and ended Seonghun's life.

"Argh... Ugh... Ughhh...!"
"This is for my mother!"
"Y-you... you half-breed... how dare you... ugh—"

As Seunghee's revenge concluded, foxfire flickered behind him. Seunghee, a half-blood born of the Gumiho NPC Knowledge Mihyun's sister, Mieun, and a Human named Gunho NPC Knowledge, had lingered around the traveler to exact his revenge.

"Chief Royal Secretary, Traveler. Since you've done me a favor, I will tell you this. The Centipede Market, they aim to leave only "Humans" on this land."

With this ominous warning about the Centipede Market, Seunghee vanished without a trace.
