Chapter 12: Up in Flames

With questions unanswered, Bari the Mudang Wraith NPC Knowledge departed this world. The traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge looked under the Dangsan Tree NPC Knowledge that Bari worshipped and found the will that Bari left behind.

"I have committed many sins, and intend to depart from this world... No matter how important my life is... How could I bring curses upon my parents, who raised me with their whole heart? Please... Leave this disgraceful daughter, who took her own life, in the past."

Bari's lifeline, the serpent skin, was used to threaten her, leaving her no choice but to set curses upon other people. Bari remained steadfast in her resolve to protect the old couple who had raised her. She set fire to the serpent skin, knowing that it would bring about her own demise. Bari used her final moments to shield the elderly couple from the flames started by the military officers to cover up their actions.

The traveler and Dolswe wished for Bari the Mudang Wraith to rest peacefully. And that was the end of Bari... No rays of sunshine would ever shine upon Bari Forest again.
