Chapter 2: The Youth in Blue

Just how long did they walk? The monster's maw seemed endless, no matter how far he went. Then, as he climbed over the final hill, an unbelievable sight unfolded before the child's eyes.

Clear water falling to form a pond, and a thick fog lay mysteriously all over.

"Have... have I walked into the underworld...?"

At that moment, a shadow in the distance began to move, and a boy's voice reached the child's ears.

"A person? You're a person?!"

The shadow flew through the sky and approached the child. The boy revealed in the moonlight was dressed in blue silk clothes.

"A blue-clad... youth...? Are you a reaper? Have you come to greet me?"
"What? Hahahaha! Look at me. Do I look like a reaper?"
"..."
"Right. What is your name, child?"
"You dare ask my name...! Oh, never mind. My name is Young."
"Young... Young, is it? That's a good name. Will you take me out of here?"
"What?! That... that is...!"

Outside, the world was full of people who wanted Young dead. For now, the boy in blue decided to stay here with Young.
