Objective
Chapter 1: The Giant Mouth

Bakdal Year 3986. A child was running in a forest in Hwanghae Province. The child, unable to overcome his increasingly labored breathing, collapsed. The guards accompanying the child comforted him.

"You must keep going to reach the Cloud Pier before dawn! You cannot fall here. Please, for the sake of the departed... Ahh!!"

A giant monster awaited the child and his group in the forest. When the monster opened its mouth, its upper lip touched the sky, its lower lip the ground.

"Ugh... Urrrgggg..!! Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! S-save me—!!"
"I-I have an elderly mother and a family back home...! P-please forgive me!!"

Faced such an enormous monster, all the guards who protecting the child fled.

"...Everyone has left me. My parents, my siblings, even my friends..."

Left alone and desolate, the child resigned to their fate. When they looked up, all they could see was the seemingly endless depth of the monster's maw staring back at them.

"Yes. What is the point of surviving so miserably? I will decide my own end."

The child closed their eyes tightly and walked into the monster's maw.
