[Storybook] Tale of Chunhyang

Chapter 6: Where's Chunhyang?

Before embarking on his grand journey across Hwanghae Province, Lee Mongryong NPC Knowledge expressed a heartfelt desire to see his beloved family one last time. The traveler, moved by the earnest plea of his dear friend, graciously accepted this request. As they made their way to Mongryong's home, they encountered a charming marten. The creature seemed to take a liking to Mongryong, only to scamper away shortly after.

Soon, they crossed paths with Hyangdan, handmaid of Chunhyang. Hyangdan informed them that Chunhyang was not at home and that a mysterious marten had appeared in her place. When the marten vanished, Siwon, Chunhyang's father, demanded its immediate retrieval. Mongryong realized that the marten Hyangdan spoke of was the very one they had encountered earlier, but he paid it no mind. Meeting his beloved Chunhyang was of far greater importance.

However, upon reaching Chunhyang's house, they found it empty. Desperate, the traveler and Mongryong sought out Siwon, only to be met with a cold reception. Siwon, with a dismissive wave, sent the traveler away, leaving them with more questions than answers.
