Chapter 6: Apex Changui NPC Knowledge

"It's the Stripefolk! The troop of tigers that hunt their own kind!"

Did the scholar's cries reach the heavens? The Tigerslayers' Taebaek Troops had come down to Donghae Province. However, an old hunter, Old Man Mansoo NPC Knowledge, stood in the way of Captain Taesoo NPC Knowledge. They stared each other down with frightening intensity.
 
It turned out that they were father and son, but the two had grown distant after Taesoo lost his mother to a tiger. That's because despite the tragedy, the old man remained loyal to Sangoon NPC Knowledge.

The help of Old Man Mansoo, who's familiar with the terrain, would have been of great help to the Tigerslayers in taking down the Changui and Sangoon... But, the Old Man refused and dismissed the idea entirely. With no other choice, the traveler and Dolswe NPC Knowledge headed to the Tigerslayers Base to meet with an inhospitable Captain Taesoo.

The traveler finds themselves helping repress a Changui attack, and Captain Taesoo is badly wounded by a being that was neither Human nor Changui. As the soul of the collapsed Taesoo wandered the path to the netherworld, the traveler hears about the Apex Changui from Hyang-goong NPC Knowledge and Old Lady Birigongdeok NPC Knowledge.
 
The Apex Changui was none other than Daeho, the boy Hyang-goong so desperately wanted to save. He still carried a human heart within... Will the traveler succeed in consoling his wrath?
