Chapter 7: The Father

The traveler and Tigerslayers decided that the mountainside tavern, where Daeho's memories resided, would be fitting to use as a trap. It would break Hyang-goong NPC Knowledge's heart, but they had to stop Daeho's soul from scattering into the mountains.

Daeho had a dear wish before he'd turned into an Apex Changui NPC Knowledge. It was to find the liquor that his father so badly wanted to try, called Wild Truffle 100. And this is what they would use to lure Daeho.

The traveler set out to obtain the liquor and came across none other than Patrigio NPC Knowledge, who was visiting the Land of the Morning Light! He demanded Miss Myo NPC Knowledge's Mongminsimseo in return for Wild Truffle 100. The traveler obtained both the liquor and some unexpected information.

The information was about Shakatu NPC Knowledge smuggling Sangoon NPC Knowledge's cub. As the reason behind the fury of Sangoon, the guardian of these lands, became clearer... the Apex Changui was successfully lured to the tavern.

Daeho realizes that it was a trap and tried to flee, and a violent battle broke out between him and the Tigerslayers. The traveler turned the tide of battle and subdued the Apex Changui. All that was left in Daeho's wake was Hyang-goong's heart-wrenching cries.

"How were you sure that Daeho was gonna return to the tavern?" Dolswe NPC Knowledge quietly asked Old Lady Birigongdeok NPC Knowledge, to which she whispered, "These wishes we had left unfulfilled, have at long last, now come to pass..."
