[Edanian Journey] Zephyros

Chapter 1: Prelude to the Expedition

Aetherion, Orbita, Nymphamaré, Tenebraum... At last, I have claimed the thrones of all four castles investigated by the Society of Equilibrium. Now, only one bastion remains: <b>Zephyros</b>. According to the Black Spirit NPC Knowledge, conquering this final throne will see me reborn as the <b>true King of Edana</b>. Yet, the true meaning of that title still eludes me.

Upon my return to the Hakinza Sanctuary, word reached me that Jordine NPC Knowledge had regained consciousness. It seemed he had inherited much from <b>"real" Jordine</b> himself.

He spoke of the <b>King of Zephyros</b>, said to be the one closest to the <b>Primordial Darkness</b>. Jordine had lingered to warn me, but now he was set to return to Serendia. Though his reputation remains as complicated as ever, his resolve appears firm—I trust he will see his task through.

Seeking a report on the Zephyros expedition that had set out before me, I sought out Orwen and Alustin NPC Knowledge. To my surprise, Lafi was already there, having rushed to Zephyros upon hearing rumors of Ancient civilization remnants.

The findings revealed that the slate Jordine had shown me at Aetherion differed from what I had seen in the Ancient Stone Chamber. In Zephyros, traces of Noir Bartali III were also discovered, and it's said Emma's dreams of Edania may be tied to these mysteries.

Clearly, a thorough investigation at Zephyros is needed. After deciding to first check the castle gate said to be sealed by a barrier, I set off once more, accompanied by Lafi and Orwen.
